The Mornington Peninsula is one of my favourite areas for photographing weddings. From the outstanding venues (and food!) to the beautiful sunsets and scenery – it all goes to make for a memorable experience and stunning backdrop to wedding photos.
Those of you who are regular visitors to the site probably know I’m a big fan of many of the wedding venues on the Mornington Peninsula, including Baxter Barn, The Briars, All Smiles, Red Hill Estate and of course, the newly opened Jackalope at Merricks, to name but a few. Wide open skies, rolling hills, vines, Port Phillip Bay and Bass Strait, great food, a relaxed vibe away from the city. Don’t get me started on the things I love about the area as we’ll be here all day!
There is one place that I love to visit when I’m not working in order to relax, unwind, gather my thoughts, and sometimes soak my aching muscles after a busy weekend of photographing weddings – the Peninsula Hot Springs.
Nestled in the beautiful landscape of the Peninsula, and with 360 views of the area it really is a stunning place to relax and rejuvenate. It’s also a popular destination for the relaxing parts of hen’s weekends (before someone breaks out the wine!) and would also be a good place to relax a few weeks before the wedding when things can get a little hectic.
If you’re getting married on the Mornington Peninsula in 2019/20 I’m pleased to offer a Dine & Bathe package for 2 people with every full priced wedding photography booking made. Valued at over $200, this package entitles you and your partner or friend to dinner with wine at the Spa Dreaming Centre cafe between 6 and 9pm, robes, plus a relaxing bathe in the pools of the Spa Dreaming Centre. The small print – Your voucher will be mailed or emailed to you upon payment of a deposit and a signed agreement. Bookings must be made before December 31, 2019 and the wedding must be held on the Mornington Peninsula. That’s it.
