Queens Park, Moonee Ponds

Queens Park in Moonee Ponds is a hidden gem for those in search of a wedding photography location and one which we have only discovered recently.

The Moonee Ponds area isn’t brimming with lush green locations which are useful for family photos and sessions with the bridal party and couple, so Queens Park is going to come in pretty handy in the future!

A large and well maintained park, with a lake and some lovely walkways through an area of plantation with plenty of mature growth.  The overhanging palms and trees are beautiful for framing a photo.

Below are a few shots from Jessica & Spiro’s wedding photography session in Queens Park to give you a sense of whats on offer.  A point I should make is that although everything looks quite vibrant and green, this was actually shot during winter, so it’s also a good photography location for the winter months when Melbourne can look a bit grey at times!
