Maree Livy has been a wedding celebrant for over 14 years.
Born and bred in Melbourne she is passionate about all the wonderful food, wine, venues and experiences this great city has to offer. She’s a self-confessed coffee snob who is slightly obsessed with shoes.
Maree says that she loves hearing couple’s stories about how they met and just what it is that makes them “click”.
She has a relaxed, inclusive and vibrant approach to weddings, ensuring every ceremony she conducts reflects the couple’s individual personality and style.
Every wedding that I have been fortunate to photograph while she has been the celebrant has always been enjoyable, relaxed and always all about the couple.
Based close to the Yarra Valley, Maree is often found officiating at wedding venues such as Stones of the Yarra Valley, Yering Station, Zonzo Estate and Coombe Yarra Valley. With that said, I have photographed weddings in Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula and Macedon Ranges with Maree as the celebrant, so like me, she isn’t tied to just one area.
