Often, brides request a shot of their dress before they start wearing it. I guess it’s never going to look as clean ever again, so it’s a good idea to take a couple of snaps while it’s still pristine.
As well as the ‘obvious’ shot of the dress hanging up somewhere, I also try to look for another setting for it, whether it’s outside, being admired by someone or in transit like the shot below. I think the dress ‘in action’ in a scene is far more interesting than being inanimate on a coat hanger.
