I know and love Melbourne.
I mean I KNOW and LOVE Melbourne!
As a wedding photographer who is constantly working in new locations around the city, I know all the laneways, alleys, nooks, crannies and scuzzy spots in the city. Turn the corner and I can then lead you to the Paris Quarter on Collins Street, the Grand Hyatt, and so many other fancy-dan venues, restaurants and bars. Then we could show you some hipster joints, pop by Thousand Pound Bend and on up to Brunswick Street or Collingwood.
What I’m trying to tell you, is that I have worked in so many venues and wedding photography locations around the city, that whatever you had in mind for your wedding photos, I’ll be able to make some quality suggestions as to what would look good for your personal style and taste.
Spreading further out of the city, I also love working with my camera taking wedding photos in the Yarra Valley and Mornington Peninsula.
In the Yarra Valley, my favourite venues for photographing weddings are Stones of the Yarra Valley, Healesville Hotel, Healesville Sanctuary, Immerse, Balgownie Estate, Zonzo, Bulong Estate, Inglewood Estate, Riverstone Estate, The Farm in Warrandyte, Chateau Yering and Yering Station.
When I think of great weddings I have photographed in the Mornington Peninsula, venues such as Lindenderry at Redhill, Redhill Estate , and their near neighbour the Epicurean, All Smiles at Sorrento beach and the rustic Baxter Barn all spring to mind. Of course, the brand new luxury hotel and vineyard at Jackalope is also high on the list for places to shoot next.
To the north and west of Melbourne, I have photographed my fair share of weddings in Kyneton, Woodend Bendigo, Ballarat and Great Ocean Road, with some of the memorable wedding locations including Campaspe House, Werribee Mansion, Capitol Theatre in Bendigo, Lorne Beach Pavilion and the gorgeous St Agnes Homestead in Kyneton.
Wherever you are hosting your wedding in Melbourne, I’d love to discuss it with you and be a part of your day, providing some of the most highly recommended wedding photography in Melbourne.
