Flinders Yacht Club on the Mornington Peninsula was the beautiful location that Kirsten & Shane and chose for their marriage ceremony and reception.
Kirsten readied herself along with her best friend and children at a nearby cottage in Flinders village before arriving at the venue in a sky blue VW Kombi from Peninsula Kombi Bus who offer beautifully restored VW Kombis for hire for weddings and events around the Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley and Melbourne.
With many personal touches and details added to the venue, including hand made sign posts and floral decorations, Kirsten and Shane transformed the venue into an inviting and casual space which perfectly suited their beachside marriage ceremony.
With Maree Livy as their celebrant the whole event had a relaxed and casual feel that continued well into the evening.
We used the Kombi for the wedding photography with the couple at the beach before the newlyweds joined their guests for drinks, paella, speeches and dancing.
