Hey, did I tell you about the time I went to a wedding at Terindah Estate on the Bellarine Peninsula? No? Well it was ace! Not everybody can say that about their day at work, and for that I’m very grateful! I love working in all these amazing locations around Victoria and I plan to revisit Terindah on a day off soon, to soak up the stunning view and enjoy another glass of their very fine wine! It’s worth the trip!
Phillipa & Darin hosted their wedding at Terindah Estate, with an outdoor ceremony overlooking Port Phillip Bay towards the You Yangs and Melbourne.
The late afternoon ceremony was followed by photography in the vines with the bridal party, before moving on to the private beach with the couple, while guests enjoyed drinks and games on the lawn, before moving inside for dinner, speeches and dancing.
I really enjoy photographing weddings on the Bellarine Peninsula with it’s relaxed vibe and long summer day feel. Views across the bay are a great backdrop, and no matter what the light is doing, something special is always conjured up.
