The charming facilities and accommodation around the estate are all  built with a purpose to let you host an entire event in the property while enjoying the peace of mind knowing that you and your guests can relax and don’t have to leave the property for the entirety of your big day.

Dine and Wine at Tanglewood Estate

The very first vines in Tanglewood Estate were planted as far back as 1984. The estate boasts premium cool climate wines that are produced, bottled and mainly sold in the Estate. There is also a small winery complete with facilities for events and functions. They also have in-house chefs known for creating impressive meals, using local produce.

On offer are Traminer and Riesling wines with delicious fruit flavours, perfect to be served with light lunches. There are also more complex Chardonnays as these are barrel fermented then aged on lees in a prime French oak. The Pinot variety that is well known all over the Mornington Peninsula also has barrel ferment traits and rich fruit from the estate’s four clones of the variety. Cabernets are a combination of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon.

With a minimum storage of two years in barriques then a year in the bottle, you can already drink the Cabernets once they are released. Small amounts of Shiraz and Merlot are created as special bottling and blended from three vintages to create complex wines with great character.

Enjoy the views of the bay during a private function with lunch served by arrangement. The external caterers not only feed and water wedding guests but also for anniversaries, birthdays, and other special events, with facilities best enjoyed by up to approximately 120 guests.
